At Finney's Tiger Rock, the instructors have a passion for martial arts - and that doesn't end on the mat. Their mission is to teach students to be strong athletes and good citizens through martial arts.
They strive to lead active, high-energy, fun classes that promote the fundamentals and proper techniques of TaeKwonDo along with good sportsmanship and a sense of community. They take enormous pride in watching their students grow on and off the mat and nothing makes them happier than to see the students foster new friendships and create their own communities.
Their lessons alternate between two cycles - competition and tactical. Competition focuses on growing through competitive activities, and the students have the opportunity to compete at the district, national, and worlds levels. In tactical cycle, they focus on real-life, self defense drills.
Their instructor team is comprised of adult certified instructors, many who have achieved high-rank black belt (4th degree or higher), and their honors and leadership instructor program of students age 7-15, who assist the certified instructors.
The instructors at Tiger Rock work hard to give their students the best experience every time they step onto the mat, and are honored and humbled to have the faith of so many families in the community.
