One of Westchase’ original restaurants, they've been serving up the best wings in the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years! The late John “Popa” Castaneda was one of the founders of McDivot’s years and years ago and the mastermind behind their entire menu. For 25 years, He earned the respect and admiration of the entire Westchase community and created all of their incredible recipes, not the least of which was their legendary wings! He had an intense passion for putting out the best quality possible. John Castaneda was the friendly face of McDivot’s, his honest heart-felt love that he radiated to all those he met was genuine and infectious. He had a bigger than life persona that made everyone who ever met him know you were immediately accepted into his family. His steady presence at McDivot’s allowed the customers to have a place to go “where everyone knows your name”.
